So i was at work yesterday, not really concentrating and i purchased a brand new i7 4770 without thinking from another forum, then realised it wasn't the K version :o:rolleyes:

Now after reading up, i realise my error as i cannot really consider overclocking as it's multiplier locked and i'll be lucky to even clock it to 3.8ghz.

Is it as bad as it sounds though, give me some comfort lol. I only paid £170 brand new for it.
 
TBH, i bought my Q6600 (my latest) about 5 years ago with the intention of clocking but i never got round to it, i probably won't this one either. Still a step up from the 6600 anyway lol
