Sci-fi version of Titan Quest ?

that's what I'm looking for chaps ... don't care if it's old or new but I want it to play on Win7 without any messing around ... any suggestions ?

I really like the Titan Quest style but I'm more of a laser guns and shields guy than swords and spells

There must be a gem of a game out there waiting for me

Space Siege is the only one I can think of but I never played it so dunno how good it is about 2 - 3 years old game

Aye that's the one I was thinking of but by most accounts it's a bit pants.

There are no Sci-fi Versions that are as good as Titan Quest with the same view mode, at least none I have came across. You could try the new Hellgate London that's in closed beta right now. It's the same style of game only in a first person/third person mode. Choose the Hunter class if you want guns and force shields.

All the other sci-fi hack and slash games are average at best. Greed Black Border springs to mind fun but won't last as long as Titan quest. Space Siege I enjoyed but its far to basic and short. There is also http://spacehack.rebelmind.com/en/main but I never got into that one.

Darkspore is an isometric loot centric co-op Action RPG .

It's implementation is a little weird but can't fault it!

Too Human is the closest I can think of but it isn't on PC

There are also the 3 Alien Breed games (Impact, Assault & Descent) plus Shadowgrounds & Shadowgrounds Survivor but they only half cover what you are looking for. No real class or skills but all 5 games have a top down view, hack and slash style combat with guns.

If there is a demo give Space Siege ago, in many ways I found it better than Darkspore. Sure Space Siege wasn't worth the full retail price and it was a fraction of the game Dungeon Siege was but its well with it for £10 or less for a bit of fun.

Thanks chaps, Darkspore looks like it might be worth a punt ... I'll see if I can get a demo first though!

I played Space Seige to the end and I really enjoyed it.

Tried the Darkspore demo and it didn't really grab me but saying that I would probably pick it up on a steam sale.

There's the new Warhammer Space Marines that might fit the bill.

Kill Team is a bit Action RPG ish (though more action from the looks)

Space Marine is more God Of War like I think.
