The article says sound can easily be shielded so should be a non-issue. What I want to know is what could the produced electricity be used for in a PC since the PSU does all the work in that regard.

Someone I know is really gonna roast me for this - we had a huge argument a few weeks ago where I was telling him it couldn't be done!

Ironically enough the guy did his PhD in piezoceramics, and yet, out of all the lame, inefficient methods he came up with during our argument to try and figure out how this could be done, piezoceramics was the ONE he didn't think of!
