Score about right?

Upgraded my pc 2 weeks ago and finnaly got round to benching it with 3dmark06. 1248*1024 with no AA.

Is the score about right?

3DMark Score 7746 3DMarks

SM 2.0 Score 3260 Marks

SM 3.0 Score 3513 Marks

CPU Score 2090 Marks

See sig for specs, everything is at stock.

What could be causing it to be lower?

This pc is an all mighty beast compared to my old machine and it has run everything top wack with everything I've thrown at it.

Make sure all the settings are on "performance" and no AA or AF.

I forgot to check my Nvidia control panel which was set to full AA and AF and set to high quality, my results are now as follows:

3DMark Score 8387 3DMarks

SM 2.0 Score 3760 Marks

SM 3.0 Score 3745 Marks

CPU Score 2097 Marks

Looks a lot more like it.

I have never overclocked before so I dont know how to do it safely.

What software and any guides to guide me?

Tbh I dont really need to overclock coz its running everything sooooooooooooooooo fast
