Is my score correct for a 3ghz opty and a X1800XT @ 700 core / 800 memory ??

Looks a little low for a 3GHz CPU, I'm getting 9,918 with a 2GHz X2 3800+. I do have a more powerful graphics card though, maybe 3DMark05 is more GPU limited than CPU limited?

Yeah, I think it's just that Nvidia suck

But seriously, most 7900GTX systems get way more than this once they're overclocked. I haven't really started overclocking my card or CPU yet since the weather's so hot. Hopefully I'll be getting 13k or so once everything's pushed to the limit

Yes but, he's CPU is only 2ghz and the dual cores make little difference in 05.

Your score seems right. With almost the same clock on my x1800xt and my cpu at 2.8gig I get 9750 points. I'd of thought your opty at that clock helps push it through the 10k barrier.
