Had a few ales in the beer garden at lunch time and this rather interesting (well it is after a few pints of Guinness (Guinnai?)) discussion came up.

People from England are called English
People from Wales are called Welsh
People from Ireland are called Irish.

So on that premise/logic, wouldn't people from Scotland be called Scotch?
