For the first time ever I didn't listen to the salesman's pitch and I didn't get Lifeshine for my new car. Of course this means there is no protection on the seats.
I wouldn't mind doing this myself - liquid spills really can ruin those seats and/or carpets. Is Scotchgard still a good choice? Spray and prey?
Or is there anything else out there equally good or better?

Cheers.

Wouldn't bother with anything.

On cloth seats, anything you put on gets worn as it's such a high traffic material.

Scotchgard works well on carpets. Works fine on seats too but as Hyburbate says it wears fairly quickly. Best protection for seats is to not eat or drink on them, or at least stick to water.
