I've recently moved down to London, had a few trips out and about to escape the hectic city - been on as few trips up to Scotland.

Hauling my kit through midge filled sand-dunes is no fun at all!

Scotland is so nice when the weather decides to play ball, the last few times i've been i've come away with pretty much zero, but the last trip in August was great..

The last pic is actually the opening of the Shard in London, when they had the laser show - taken from tower bridge :)

All shot on large format with Velvia 50 (Fuji T64 for the Shard) with my Linhof Technikardan 45S

Currently planning a trip to Iceland, can't wait

I absolutely love that first one. It's ace :) The lighting is spot on :) Did you use a grad on the 2nd? Looks very nice too :)

Hi,

Yeah I used grads on all of them, quite a heavy one on the 2nd shot (2 stops) from what I can remember there was about 15 stop between the shadows and the highlights, and velvia 50 doesn't have the best dynamic range!

Ah good, I was right :D I thought it looked too well balanced to be natural (I suppose this is a backhanded compliment :D)

I demand more photos, they're quite ace :)
