Scots Please Help Me!

Right me and the Mrs(She's Scottish) have finally set a proper date for our wedding, the problem that I'm facing is she wants me to wear a kilt!

What I'm stuck on is what tartan to wear or go for a plain kilt. I'm English and have no ties to any Scottish family or clan..... her family has a tartan, but i'm not sure if it would be ok to wear this.

So after some excellent reply's from a few of you, like the skirt wearing biatch one, (The mrs did spot this one) I have decided to bow down and wear a kilt. Going to go for a nice simple plain black.

Hmm the idea of pretty much being sexually attacked by middle aged women in the street is slightly off putting but I think I will manage... gets a bit windy up these ways, and we will be near the coast for wedding day, going to be chilly going commando!
