I like all the shots Dod, the 2nd is my personal favourite, as Its a shot that ive never been able to capture myself, I can get airbourne bikes, but I never manage to get a point of referance for the height, like yours has. Great shots as usual.

PS. any reason you got the Sigma 70-200f2.8, instead of the Canon 70-200f2.8IS, or non IS?

Thanks, I've been trying to get a shot like that for weeks :)

Cost and sharpness. The sigma matches or beats the canon through a lot of the range. However, I don't like the finish on it, it grabs mud and dust and marks don't come off easily.

Verdict
The Sigma AF 70-200mm f/2.8 EX APO HSM DG proved to be a worthy representative of its league with high performance figures in most categories. At 70mm and 135mm easily matched and even excelled the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 USM L (performance leader so far) whereas it was somewhat worse at 200mm except at medium aperture settings. Both distortions as well as vignetting are nothing to worry about. The build quality is very impressive. Regarding the substantially lower price tag the Sigma is certainly a highly interesting alternative to the competing products by the genuine manufacturers.

Yeh these are lovely dod...what you wouldn't do for a clear sunny day with the sun over-top though hey!
