Scottish Cup

At least Hibs took them to a replay. :p

So does this mean Ross County will playing European football next season?

If Dundee Utd win the cup and finish second in the league according to the radio.

Great result for County though and Celtic will have a lot to clear out for next season.

It was woeful from Celtic today - never really looked interested at all - any of them. Well done Ross County - thoroughly deserved and look like they would be a welcome addition to the Premier league next season, if only there weren't two or three teams above them

Safe to say it promotes the idea of a 16 team league?.

These games against these teams might not be so boring after all?

Ross County were faster, slicker and passed it better than Celtic and if i`m being honest, they look like they`d have given Rangers every bit as hard a game.

I`d closed the door on the idea, maybe i was a bit hasty.

Depends on the games, given that yesterday was a semi-final would the players have given the same effort in a SPL game near the end of the season or would the current SPL clubs fear the loss of income from playing the OF?

I guess it comes down to whether or not Sky/ESPN would pay the extra money for the rights or do the same as last year and screw the clubs over again.

One good thing to come out of yesterdays game was that the fans couldn't blame the loss on the referees or the state of the pitch so would anyone care now if they boycott away matches?

Should be interesting to see the attendance for Tuesday's match against Motherwell.

Anyway, Dundee Utd beat Raith 2-0 today so no all-first division final. :(

It was a good game - Raith looked to have united on the ropes until they plucked a goal from nowhere - did themselves proud

Shocker of a result on Saturday but Celtic were well beaten, fair and square. What an abject performance though, I don't recall seeing anything quite as bad as that for a long time.

I'm delighted for Ross County, would be quite something to see a local team lift the Scottish Cup. A few of my mates have already floated the idea of going to Hampden dressed as staggies for the day.

Raith Rovers, Ross County, Caley and Dundee would all hold their own in the SPL.
St Johnstone this year are showing just how poor the teams in the SPL are. There's very very little difference between the teams in the top half of the 1st division and from 3rd and below in the SPL
