Hi all joined up to the forum as im starting to get into my computers and have recently done a budget build that ill be hoping to upgrade through time.

currently my specs are

AMD FX-6350
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 (Zalman CNPS5X Performa cooler )
12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 671MHz
msi 7950 O/C boost edition
be quiet power zone 650 watt psu
1tb seagate system drive
2tb seagate slave drive
zalman z9 plus case

as I say probably nowhere near as good as some of the systems on here but this is my first really go at building a machine from scratch

Ive lost one of the DVD drives since ive took this picture and added a fan in to where the lower drives would sit so now my graphics card is staying bellow 65c while playing games

yea there's a few bits I'm wanting to change or upgrade.
looking at motherboards and Ive got a serious want for an SSD

Im running stock clocks at the moment as I don't have any ideas where to start overclocking

yea im getting the bug already...
Im looking at ssd's for my next upgrade. roll on the end of the month to pay day.. think ill need to get the 4 wheel alignment done on the car though..

so just hoping once ive got that done ill have a wee bit spare for an ssd

cheers for the welcome.. and yip Im afraid ive got an AMD... what makes it worse is ive got 2 in the house...

my sons running my old fx-6100, Asus M5a78l-m/usb3 with an old MSI gts450 2gb hes only 8 so I think hes doing alright...
