Scottoiler drip position

Hi

My Thundercat came with a Scottoiler fitted and drip tube is positioned just in front of the rear sprocket to drip on to the bottom run of the chain.

I've been told that this is wrong and the oil should drip on the rear sprocket.

For some reason the Scottoiler website isn't working properly on my phone so can someone confirm if this is correct?

The fitting guide for the Thundercat from http://www.scottoiler.com/uk/installation-guides.html says that it should be in the 6-7 o clock position.
