I'm back baby!
Has anyone in the history of the world ever completed this game?

The full World Tournament career mode I mean.

I pretty much walked it to the final person of the tournament but there's no chance I'm getting past the last person. I haven't even been near their score yet, and I'd consider myself fairly verbose. More than the common man.

oooh didn't know this existed, I shall investigate and then see if I can beat Gilly, though I suck at word games, and ironically will have spelt something wrong in this post;)

Never knew Scrabble existed for the DS but I think the missus might like it. I'm sure the AI is annoyingly difficult but I do find Gilly's sig quite ironic :D

It's the 5 minute time limit for the game which I find the real killer on the final opponent, with a more sensible limit of 25 minutes (which is normally used in tournament play iirc) it would be a much better (although still very challenging) game.

The jump in skill* between the penultimate opponent and the final one is laughable, and is where most AI scabble games fall down in that it is very hard to provide AI players that are good or very good, much easier to have low level players and ones with the entire lexicon at their disposal.

I did eventually manage to beat the final opponent, but it must have taken about 20 attempts until I got a good enough run of the letters. Apart from against the final player I was averaging around 500 points per game, slightly less on the time restricted levels.

*skill - The tactical skill in terms of tile placement is very limited even on the best level, it just utilises the full dictionary rather than a limited selection.
