Hi I scraped some kind of pillar last night with my car and apart from broken rear light theres yellow paint on some of the door and rim.

Any quick way to get some of the paint off before I show my dad?

BTW my car is light green

dunno was spose to go somewhere in a bit, got some car wax. shall i try it?

and nokinidea ill upload the pictures in a while..

This 'some kind of pillar' that somehow left yellow paint wouldn't happen to be a yellow car would it?

I can think of no other reason why you would want to remove said paint before your dad sees it...

Hit and run tbh...

You got too much time on your hands mate, stop trying to be a detective your not very good at it.

The reason is that my dad paid for my car and id rather that he didnt get really angry, and if that means t cutting it a bit so it dont look too bad then so be it.

Anyway I showed it to my dad before I done the t cut. He was a bit angry but its orite now.

I T cutted it myself and ive got the yellow paint off the door, rim and wing. I'll upload them pics tomorrow. Funny thing was I went to a auto repairs shop and the guy said t-cut wouldnt get it off, another man said the same thing.

I showed my dad and he said T-cut would work fine. And it worked bang on for the door, rim, basically the metal parts.

Anyway heres the pics pre t cutting:

Yup, very silly of me I was reversing and was in a rush didn't even look back properly..

Yeah so I t cutted it yesterday, the paints all off the door now except for some on the plastic strip and wheel arch. Theres now a Bolt in the bumper.

Need a new brakelight and got to get the yellow off the bumper, cant wait to get rid of this car. It's been whacked a few times tbh. I'll have to wait till the next MOT, might keep it if the scratches on other parts of the car and Front bumper are sorted..

It was second hand, had 70,000 miles on the clock, R reg, good mechanical condition bodywork was fine too. 1.3 Swift GLX.

Cost £450

I'll tell you one thing it's pretty nippy for what it is, this is due to the light bodywork. Drove a courtesy car the other week, 07 Corsa it had no acceleration what so ever and just felt awful to drive, took all the fun out of drving.
