Scrappage scheme question..

Hey guys,

Can't seem to find this info anywhere..

A friend of mine wants to scrap her Ford KA using the scrappage scheme, and then buy a new car.. however, she then wants to sell the new car pretty much straight away, inheriting a bit of extra cash, so she can then go and spend it on a new second hand car..

Is this allowed??

That's what I was thinking? Her car is worth like £500, say if she got a total of £2000 off the new car, if she was then to sell it, she'd say lose £1.5k at least off the new car value? So therefore she'd only get the money for her car. I could be wrong though..
