anyone ever had any of this stuff?

was in Philadelphia a couple of weeks ago and a bar owner told me about it, a couple of days later he brought some in and cooked it for us, he said "don't ask how it's made just try it" I did and it's lovely, tastes like a smooth spiced sausage meat

I must say I am glad I tried it before looking what it was

That's basically haggis made from pig instead of lamb and with cornmeal instead of barley/oatmeal. having worked in a butcher shop, I can assure you there is a lot worse goes into some sausage type products
