scratch on windscreen

got a 14cm vertical scratch on my windscreen its not really visible on the outside unless u know its there. On the inside u notice it tho, it's in the drivers view area(steering wheel mot area). Now if i claim of insurance will they replace it or repair it? got a £70 excess

Anyone had their windscreen scratches repaired or windscreen replaced?

How deep is it?

You can just feel it with your fingernail. If it was to be a repair (prob crap tbh) , I would prob prefer to leave it but £70 and maybe get a new screen sounds to good to be true.
