Scratchcard win

As above, it will register as a win when they scan the barcode

I assume the barcode is on the scratched off part on these cards?

If its on the rear then surely shop keepers can just keep scanning their cards until they find a win, and bag it for themselves?

I dont know never buy them.

The number you find on the scratchcard, which includes 4 boxed numbers at the end, is what stops that happening. The barcode must be scanned, then the 4 digit pin is input.

I used a key initially, must have gone in too hard.

Yeah, best to use a 2p or 10p coin, as they are large enough while still fairly thin.

My luck is rubbish with scratchcards tbh. Best I got was £15 from a £2 card and £9 from a £1 card. Whatever you do guys, stay away from Camelot's online gambling section of their web site. It's basically their scratchcards as online versions, coded in Flash. It was decent in 2006, had a few wins and my budgeted money lasted maybe 30-60 minutes, but come 2009, and the gameplay / odds went to the dogs. Stopped playing then.
