I was building my folding rig the weekend and was using a 5' light to see exactly what I was doing but it toppled over on my thick soft carpet and scratched the right side of the screen.
I think it has only damaged the coating on the u2410 and not the actual screen, it's an expensive monitor and now that mark will affect my PhotoShop - it's pretty bad as you can see so I could be looking at buying a new Dell u2413...
I did look at removing it myself but found it caused more problems.
What the options are for fixing it? I can't find options to pay Dell to do it - it requires "Service Tag or Express Service Code" when I don't have one and only a Serial Number?
