Scream 7

Dear God - 7 films... :D

Only watched the first one which is very good (its on iPlayer) - haven't seen it since it came out in '97. Needs another watch.

I'm wondering if...

The return of Stu that was confirmed quite some time ago is a little more smoke and mirrors, Roman Bridger is back as well in some capacity, possibly just in voice. I'm starting to think its the voice changer used in the third movie that had their voices stored on it will be used with Stu's voice coming through it to mess with Sydney's dome. Or he could well properly return, it's not as if these movies have ever been 100% realistic or else Dewey would have died multiple times by this point before he finally did get offed (though he's apparently in it in some way, video recording maybe or via voice changer), so not beyond the realms of possibility.

The first is fantastic. Wonderfully self aware.
Also Drew Barrymore getting gutted in the first 10 minutes is always a huge improvement to any film. Certainly would have great for ET. :D

I think the original trilogy is about as good as teen slasher movies get.

I have one of the production made Stab movie posters from Scream 2. Came up at an auction and was not at all expensive. Cool though. Shame that it's in storage as I have nowhere to put it right now. :( And as it's Halloween, I've got my Ghostface costume just in case any kids come round. ;)

Just watching now. This film wouldn't exist if people had hearing, functional police department or were able to scream (kids in the kitche) :p

Wasn't bad but the killers motivations in this were the weakest of the series by far. Just wish that they had went through with what was originally planned with the main returnee.

There was a cut of the movie showing Stu actually alive but it got a mixed reaction in test screenings, some loved it others not so much. And if you watch Stu on the facetime videos in the movie the scars are very different, in the first call with Sidney they're very prominent, and in the second they're not as harsh, especially around the forehead. Seen people say in the cut of the movie where he's alive at the end his scars were more akin to the second facetime call, so the first video was manipulated more with ai scars to give Sidney more of a scare seeing him for the first time in 30 years.

I'll give it a watch. I do enjoy the Scream movies for whatever reason.
