US: "SCREAM" series being rebooted....

So the lesson here is to seemingly totally disregard what happened in seasons 1 and 2 and just wedge in a new cast but still call it season 3.... :confused:

End of season 2 actually got a bit interesting, now that's all out the window.

I've had 1 and 2 on my watch list for ages, is it worth watching considering they've gone with a reboot?

They're not bad, like all series some slower episodes. Just makes me wonder why they're rebooting it as the Halloween special left a lot of unanswered questions.

Its the same name but nothing to do with the movies, different mask, different City etc.

I remember watching the first series of this (or at least most of it) and thought it was pretty rubbish, I put it down to being an 'MTV' show. Did it actually get any better in the second? Considering the premise which usually happily fits into one movie I just think of it as one of those run it as long as they can TV horror shows, like The Following which I was very much looking forward to but was so poorly written, executed and dragged out it just ended up woeful.
