Looks like it could be a good arcade racer.

As a fan of Ridge Racer series, Burnout series and others it may appeal to me by the looks of it. Didn’t play the original. Have found the big arcade racing games on the PC in the last years haven’t always hit the mark but there’s too many to try now, especially with so many indie titles. Some of which are awesome.

Ridge racer was cool !
i had Ridge Race , Ridge Racer Type 4 and Rage Racer
i hope we get new ones of those !

burnout was good, i liked Destruction Derby !

Loved the first two back on PC. Great arcade racers. From the video this bares little resemblance to them :(
 
Milestone, checks me out.

The video reminds me of Motor Head though, not a bad thing. Rather than just a generic arcade racer, would be sweet if somebody looked at Screamer 4x4 again. Under the radar release, not much in the genre, people love challenging stuff.
 
it looks like a need for speed game no one wants... the modern NFS

I wish racing games would make a huge come back though...

Had fun with Screamer, Screamer 2 and Screamer Rally back in the day. Not so sure about the sci-fi setting, force fields, lighting etc.
Will wait until it's in a charity bundle.
 
Was a big fan of the orignal back in the day. Played it to death - also, some how managed to network it up with a mate via dos IPX :)

This is on the wish list, looks really good.
 
I never played the original Screamer but had Screamer 2 & Screamer Rally. I've still got my original Screamer 2 box :)
 
Loved the original games and still play them on my P1 system

I am SO tempted to pick this up soon.

Looks like they have made a good job of the new version and looks beautiful

the screamer games were amazing. I gave my screamer rally away. I posted it off to a modder who was trying to write a glide wrapper for it using a D3D.csrd. Unfortunately I never got it back and the wrapper never came out either... (I needed it when I sold my 3DFX and got my geforce 256DDR)

as for the OP. (I posted this in the wrong thread before). I seriously doubt the Amiga could run this unless it was a very late game coming out on an ultra upgraded A3000/4000 level machine...
I looked on the lemon amiga site and no hits for screamer

for comparison even the 1st wing commander game ran horrendously on the A500 and the A1200 was not much better (although I did manage to complete it on the A1200)
