Screen and audio recorder

Hello,
Could anyone direct me to a FREE program which can do the following:

- Record specific sections of the screen
- Record the audio too (not microphone sound though)

I don't seem to have Stereo Mix in the box?

Any ideas?

I can get it to record from the microphone but don;t want that!
