Screen Aspect Ratio Help

Hi guys, I have a problem!

When I play games with an native 4:3 resolution on my widescreen laptop screen, i get the 2 black bars down the side. Is there anyway I can force the game to stretch the whole screen?

urrgh why would you stretch anything ??

check your display drivers, you can set the aspect scaling in there

Why would anyone want to stretch a 4:3 picture to fit a 16:10 display.

Having black bars is much better than stretching the picture to fill your display in my opinion!

I have to agree with the people on here - stretching the image will distort it and it will look terrible, just stick to it in 4:3.

Instead of stretching first see if you can force the game to run in a widescreen resolution.
