On one of the old laptops I have, I have started to notice that the backlight is flickering on the screen. It flickers when it is using the battery and when using the power cord so I know that it is not just the battery going bad and not supplying enough power.
Would I be correct in thinking this could be one of two things?
1 - The backlight/screen inverter
2 - The backlight itself
For information purposes the laptop is a Toshiba SPA40.
