screen capture software

ive used fraps but its awful and i get a huge drop in frames to where is practically unplayable... even when ive set fraps to record at half size and lower frames..

ive downloaded msi after burner... and im trying to record... set the hot key... but for some reason it wont record... i have no idea why.. spent the past half hour trying to get it to work (changed to numerous different hot keys).... am i being stupid as i have a HIS 6950... do i have to have a MSI card to use there software to record.

is there any other software where i dnt get the huge drop in frames.... i would prefereaby like to be able to record at eyefinity resoloution... but anything is good where the game doesnt slow down to a point where its unplayable while recording

Just a hint that may get MSI working, make sure you have the beta (version 2.2.0 Beta 8) for recording to work, else it doesn't work at all (had the same issue you described a few days ago.

definatly have msi afterburner 2.2.0 beta 8.... didnt at first but then i read this may be the prob... so i updated to the beta... still pressing my hotkey and nothing happens. extremely annoying
