Screen Capture!

Hi,

I need a bit of FREE screen capture software, it would be handy if I could stipulate the dimensions of this as well.
I've no idea, and there are many, many out there.

How come when I goto the snagit website the demo video is "made with camtasia studio" ?!?!?

Tried using Snagit, but the compression is pretty rubbish makes everything I do look terrible.

I really need something that will allow me to record in HD...

The one I linked will allow you to record any resolution with the codec of your choice.

That only takes a series of screen shots though, it doesn't record a video.
