Anyone got any recommendations for decent screen cleaner for an LCD tv or any advise on how to not have it just go all smeary.
 
Just use a damp cloth something like a sock so it leaves no cotton on the screen after a clean. You can buy cleaning kits from the rain forrest that will do only cheap. If its cig smoke like i say very damp cloth first don't use cleaner cause that will smudge the smoke worse use damp watered cloth first dry it then use the cleaner afterwards. Don't use like duster cloths they leave cotton on the screen
 
Some water, microfibre cloth (both of which I have) and then a cheap cleaner off amazon I think to finish. Cheers.
 
Its basically just 3 years of dust and general air grime, the main problem is I have got a couple of annoying forehead grease marks on it previously which I tried to clean with some window cleaner, and it now just looks streaky as hell.
 
Yep don't use cleaners first it just streaks them really badly and smudges it worse. Damp cloth to take the Grime and other dirt off first then a Cleaner. But i wouldn't use window cleaner just any cheap screen cleaner would be better as its made for screens
 
Must admit I am a little amazed at how well just cold water on a cloth and some decent kitchen roll worked.
