Screen cleaning

Hi guys,

I used to use these really good electronics wipes by Pledge but have run out now (I panic bought!) and they stopped making them during Lockdown 1.0, or so I'm led to believe.

What's everyone else using? 99.9% cleaning alcohol and micro fibre cloth seems a bit too 'heavy duty' for my liking. I use a screen protector and it's a fairly decent one so I'd hate to ruin the finish etc.

Has anyone got a proven method/favourite brand of wipe etc., that they'd care to recommend?

Glasses wipes.

Give my glasses a clean then use the wipe to give my phone a quick clean.

I use ZEISS Lens Cleaning Spray and the cloths that come with glasses. Works well.

As others, just pop into any local opticians and pick up some lens wipes or spray and a glasses cloth. Jobs a good un!

Erm.. just any random cloth seems to do the trick

I use screen mom and a micro fibre cloth its the best screen cleaner I have ever had.

Window cleaner for me.
Do my monitor with it too then gently rub the monitor with a microfibre cloth after a few bursts

leaves 0 streaks.



If you have real issues theres some German cleaner that is designed to break down proteins, even has the S word on the bottle.
it's a normal cleaning product too for milk stains etc, I wish I had a photo I found it hilarious

Just give it a lil wipe with your t-shirt, if does the trick!

Thanks guys! Went with some Zeiss spray fluid in the end. It's very good, I just need some decent cloths now... my Temu specials, 10x for 60p or whatever it was they were, aren't really up to the job

I hate to think what OP uses his phone for if he needs to keep cleaning the screen like that

wipe mine with my tshirt or jumper or whatever
