Hi guys,
I was playing wow about 2 months ago and the screen started to get some corruption. REbooted my machine and it was ok for 10 minutes and then same thing happened.
Drivers wouldnt reinstall, so reinstalled the OS (windk) and it worked ok.
Was playign wow last night same thing happened. Reinstalling os and drivers doesnt seem to fix it.
Before I install the drivers or in safe mode it looks fine. A few seconds after i installed the drivers and before i rebooted the coruption appeared again.
I've tried different versions of the drivers. PC details are
Win2k Sp4. Dx9c
Epox motherboard.
Nvidia Geforce 6800le not over clocked etc.
Any idea what could be causing this? If reinstalling OS before fixed the problem would that not mean its software? But reinstall OS twice last night and changing drivers hasnt fixed it now... kinda makes me wonder it is hardware problem. And the fact that the coruption appeared a few seconds after installing the new drivers and before i rebooted makes me wonder if it is software.
I appreciate any help suggestions you can give. Will be very sad weekend if I cant play on my pc
