Screen doesnt fit my monitor.

Hey there,
just wondering why my screen doesnt fit at its native resolution of 1920x1080.
It goes off the screen so I have to have it on a low resolution to see it all.
I have the latest Nvidia drivers.

isnt there an overscan or underscan feature built into the monitors settings? it expands,squashes picture to fit the screen

Does it make a difference that its a 32" samsung tv?

I guess you're using HDMI? If so, you will need to find the overscan setting (Not sure wht Nvidia call it or where they hide it, but it will be in the Nvidia control panel somewhere)

I had this problem when I was using HDMI, I changed to DVI and it was fine.

Hi there, May I ask what the model number of the TV is?

It should have somewhere within the TV menus an option for a picture mode called "just scan" - this will bypass the TV's scaling.

If you continue to have the issue where the image doesn't fill the screen the go into the Nvidia control centre and look for the option "Resize HDTV desktop" on the left side.
