screen flicker

vista 64 seems to like turning my monitor off every now and again. it's not going into standyby, it just goes off for a second or two, then comes back on. usually just after start up, when the machine's loaded. and at various random points through the day.

anyone know a fix or something for this??

nope nothing like that.

i read a fix for it, but promptly forgot it. it's something to do with windows looking for another screen bar the primary output device.

gpu is running at standard.
