im getting my new pc soon so i decided to format the old family pc and get my games off it and speed it up. i dont have the vista disk so i used the restore system wich returns it to factory settings, not quite clean as it has preinstalled programs such as norton trial. but ive deleted those. problem is now every now and then the screen goes black for a split second then goes back on.
the gfx card blew up about 6 months ago and it has been running off internal gfx (on the mobo) and obviously the factory settings still have the drivers for the old gfx card (i uninstalled them but have no idea if i need drivers for the internal grx card and where to get them). could this cause it? it seems to happen more in games if that helps. thanks in advance. josh
