Screen Flickers in games.

so i only have this problem in games, the screen wont stop flickering.

you'll notice it for a second then it'll go but then comes back ive found this quite annoying over the course of seeing it there, ive tried updating my video card drivers from a clean install.

changed the VGA cable and vga slot thinking that could have been the root of the problem but to no avail.

the monitor im using is the Dell SP2009W. any help is much appreciated

Have you tried enabling VSync to limit the frame rate to the refresh rate of your monitor?

Though that would probably be more described as tearing than flickering.

no idea whats happened.. but its seemed to fix itself who am i to complain, lets see how it goes.
