I know that it might be in 'wrong' section of the forum...

am using dell ultrasharp 3011 at the moment which is great for photo post processing - great colours and resolution

but want something new and am considering ultra wide 34" screens...
what would you guys recommend ? LG ? Dell again ?
Dell 34 curved is not much more than lg 34... so am thinking that dell would be better choice...

all opinions and recommendations welcome :)
Thanks

Then spend you money on the panel and colour depth, things like curved screen is a novelty in photo editing. curved screen is designed for immersive experience for gaming and movie, not really for work.

Not really bothered if it is curved.
Non curved dell is for similar £ hence I've mentioned it.
Almost bought lg 34(not curved one ) when it came out but had to spend my £ on other items.

I'd have thought multiple screens would be better than a single ultra-wide for photo editing and processing.

I think the ultra-wides are only really useful if you want a single app or film or whatever to span the entire width without interruption from bezels. Does photo processing really fall into that category? Something like Lightroom might look good at full ultra-wide width when viewing thumbnails but, when processing individual images, you're going to end up with the image in the centre and then loads of empty space either side.

Personally I'd go with multiple screens, maybe a nice 27-30" IPS panel as the main one and one or two slightly smaller ones as ancilliary screens?

I thought about multiple screens in the past, but it must be single screen for various reasons.
34 wide screens offer around $40% res space to my 30" dell.
