Hi all, not sure the best section to put this, but assumed here would be better as i'm not looking for a home monitor.

I'm looking for a screen for our boardroom wall, for VC and presentations and light video. There's a big range out there, Samsung have some nice ones, like the Samsung MD65C.

Here are the requirements:

-- 60"-70"
-- At least 2 HDMI connections
-- Good quality screen, colour accuracy is fairly important (design consultancy)
-- Some form of AG as the boardroom is large with a tall ceiling and white.
-- DP connection (bonus option)
-- WiDi (bonus option, nice to have but can get an adapter separately if needs be)

Our budget is £2K but i may be able to push for £2.5k if it's worth it.

Any ideas/suggestions appreciated. TIA :)

I would strongly suggest getting in touch with an Audio Visual solutions company. Meeting room AV is quite specialised.

Have you thought about having a touch-sensitive whiteboard and projector so your designers can doodle on the board while projecting / doing presentations?

Smart screens like that tend to go well out of budget. Our priority is a quality screen for VC.

Cant tell the model number as they are up on the wall, but the one's the AV company we use are all Samsung if they aren't the specific Cisco TP/MX units (we use these in areas where the screens are necessary and as such have a NBD replacement support contract).

one thing to take into account if you have a poor internet like we do here, are VC unit sends out at 1080p and really hammers the bandwidth so we had to swap the tv to a 720p res screen to resolve it as out vc unit does it all auto ( life size ) just for referance.
