Screen goes black randomly

So my monitor is pretty much brand new only used it for 2-3 days, I bought mini-dp to dp cable to be able to use 144hz. I received the cable today and ever since I have had 4 black outs, were the screen would just go black.

P.s. This happened on desktop and in-game (CS:GO).

Now the question is, is it the cable or 144hz and my new freshly installed drivers? :confused:

what screen is it? sounds suspiciously like the cable to be honest

AMD card? If so the latest Omega drivers I think are known to cause black screen issues

Screen is AOC Q2460FQ bought from OcUK and OcUK value mini-dp to dp 2m

Edit:

Changed back to my stable 14.7 drivers and soo far I haven't experienced black screen. But its hard to tell, as it crashes randomly...

Issue fixed, 14.9 drivers are rubbish and that was the cause.

Edit:

If anyone wants some older drivers, trust me.
I have some drivers saved on one of my hard drives.
