Screen goes blank after booting

Would you be happy with either (not going to take same card again I hope)?

Nah not touching the same card again or anything from Asus I will put some more money in and get something else check out the one I have listened or is there something else that's better

The 770 is basically a rehashed 680 so not my choice.

It was down to model of card you bought not Asus BTW, many have issues with it on all brands.

Can you afford a 780, even try 2nd hand?

There is a B-Grade for around that budget, non Ref cooler though.

I prefer the stock Titan cooler TBH and all are same as made by same OEM in same factory and are far cheaper new here than that B-Grade and under your budget.

Not sure how much a Ti will fall (if at all) once 6GB version arrives, seen them on TWO for £499 a few weeks ago and £479 KFA2 GeForce GTX 780Ti "Own Design" 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card.

These are all non ref cards right? what will the difference be if I got a ref card are non ref cards meant to be better?

Non Ref = big fans on top of card and blows hot air all over your case so you need a case with good airflow, they can however run cooler and quieter as they are larger.

Ref = Exhaust all the hot air out rear of card where your cables plug in, normally a little hotter and louder but keeps case/other components like CPU cooler, though the Titan cooler is a work of marvel and runs cooler and quieter than any before it.

Yeah so which 780 would you recommend for me then from the ones I have picked or si there something else you prefer?

I do not like Non Ref but you may, does your case have good airflow?

I personally will never use Non Exhaust blower as cards long ago were all blowing air around inside of case, then aftermarket coolers gave us exhausts blowers and they became Ref for Nvidia.

IMO they are more efficient for their size.

so I got the BSOD again now and it seems everything is pointing to ASUS and the only ASUS hardware I have is the GPU.

In reviews its saying the AMD 290X is quite a bit faster than the NVidia but if I get the 290x its going to have the same bad drivers what do you guys think?

All the amd cards have black screen and flickering problems can't believe it and don't think it will be fixed any time soon
