screen issue with new msi laptop

This is my new laptop https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-...a-gtx-970m-6gb-gddr5-gaming-la-lt-220-ms.html which im really happy with,but when im gaming I have an issue where the screen keeps going blank for 2 seconds before coming back on. I dont think there is much wrong as temps all seem good and it happens when I turn the graphical settings right down as well. The power connector is plugged in. Does anyone have any ideas to what might be causing this?

Have you got the Nvidia Graphics always on ?

yer sorry mate i think I have fixed it now. Beleive it or not I wasnt plugging it into the wall so It was running off battery. To be fair though its my first laptop. Thanks anyway.
