Hello !

I have a Panasonic 32LXD500 which I have hooked up to a 8800GTS. I have set up a custom resolution (1368 x 768) in the nvidia control panel which seems to be that bit crisper than the standard 1360 x 768 option. I have it centered so that there is 1 pixel overlapping on either edge.

The problem I'm having is the whole screen pans when you get to the edge of it, which is quite distracting and annoying. Is there any way to stop this as the setup is pretty much as I'd want it apart from the bloody panning !

Thanks for any help

set the resolution to the resolution of the screen

ie 1366 x 768

1368 is 2 pixels 2 large, so just change it so it fits :)

You're right, but I didn't think that you could set the resolution to exactly 1366x768 as the 1366 wasn't a multiple of 8 which the nvidia cards require. I'll certainly give that a go though as it might work with the 8800's.

Cheers

nvidia cards dont require a multiple of 8, not sure where you got that from:) 1366x768 will work fine - it does with my gtx. all you have to do is go to the 'manage custom resolutions' panel and set it up there. simple:)

if you need help i can walk you thru it:)

I'll give that a go when I get home tonight then. I'll take you up on the walk thru if it all goes pear shaped.

Thanks for the help :)

dont mention it. took me AGES to figure out how to get 1080p working for my sony. powerstip weren't interested in supporting my card and similar setings people uses in powerstip for other cards didnt work.

in the end, the solution was actually pretty easy lol. I'm glad i can help other people lol

Yeah, its been a bit tricky. Didn't even know that you could set up custom resolutions with the driver.

Fingers crossed I can watch Heroes in all its it native resolution glory ! :)
