Hey Guys,

Well I'm using a old crt atm, because my TFT was fried..

Anyway, If I plug the monitor into a VGA output on a motherbaord I have a perfectly clear screen, However If I plug it directly into a graphics card the sreeen becomes very misty and I have trouble seeing whats being displayed does anyone know what maybe wrong?

Now my problem is I don't have a VGA output on my motherboard so I have to use my Graphics Card...

Regards,

Matt.

So does your motherboard have VGA or not?

Either way it could be down to refresh rate, on a TFT screen u usually have 60 Hz and it still a nice clear picture however on older CRT screens you need to have at least 75Hz preferbly more I would recommend 85 at least to get the best picture and no refresh rate issues.

Hi,

I do not have a VGA output on my motherboard.

I tried changing the refresh rate it didn't change anything, just made the screen very flickery.
