Screen Problem

Hey

I have a problem ith my screen, sometimes it keeps going black and before it goes black it has lots of diferent coloured dots / squares on the screen, not always in the same places..

Some times they go away and some times they get really bad and have to reboot it.

I happened after I moved my PC.

What could it be? The Monitor lead is damaged? Beacuse when I move the mointor lead it happeneds again.

There are a few possible causes, have you tried reseating your graphics card? Have you tried a different monitor lead? If your graphics card is overclocked it may be a damaged core or memory, I think memory is little dots but I'm not totally sure on that.

Ok, I How do I reset the G Card?

Cant replace the Mointor lead due to it being stuck in the back of the mointor, so I may need to buy a new one.

Reseating the graphics card is just taking it out of the slot and then putting it back in, sorry if I made it sound more complicated than it is. I suggest it as sometimes they can get partially dislodged by a move.
