Screen problem...

I've had this problem with my screen for a long time now, but I've always just ignored it, hoping that I wouldn't need to send my Macbook back.

I thought I'd take some photos to let you lot see:

What do you think has caused this? No amount of cleaning will get rid of it. Should I phone up Apple and get my screen replaced?

It looks fine when you look at it head on, but when you look at it from the side you get the pictures above^.

I've only got a couple of weeks of my 1 year warranty left, better get on the phone quick.

but saying that, could you really be without your macbook?!

Hmmm, I think I could for a week or two I mainly use it as a media centre. Everything else is done on my PC, gaming, work etc.

I've had it for 11 months now, would they still accept it and replace the screen? Otherwise, how much would it cost to be replaced?
