Screen problem

I have an Acer Aspire 5553 laptop that has developed a fault with the scren.

The screen cover on the outside seems loose from one side, When you turn the laptop on there is a yellow line running down the screen.

it eventually does go away almost to the point very it is invisible unless you look really closely.

The laptop was a referb so I do not have warranty. Do you think this will be a cheap fix and if so what's the best place to get it sorted.

There's a local shop near me that repairs screens from £40. It won't hurt to research and see what's around you, it's usually not too expensive to repair them, depends on the type of screen of course. I can't imagine it costing as much as being able to buy a new laptop like with most tablets and e-readers these days.

Buy a new screen yourself and replace at home a lot cheaper, youtube your model
