I built a PC with a Gigabyte GA-A55M-DS2 (Socket FM2) motherboard and an AMD A4-3300 (Llano) CPU. It has 4GB RAM, and is powerful enough for use as a general light-weight office PC.

I am told that the display on the screen 'goes strange' (no luck seeing it myself or getting a photo) and they have to press the reset button.

The RAM is find - I ran memtest - Furmark seemed OK as well.

I've updated the Catalyst driver, anything else obvious I should do beyond get a photo of what happens?

A description would indeed help, which is why I've been asking them for a photo or two which so far they haven't produced. Of course it never happens when I'm where the PC is!

It's not immediately after turning it on and so far as I can gather it's random. I've taken the side off the case and it's not full of fluff, which was my original thought.

Have a look in windows event viewer, anything causing this would be found under critical or high.

Even if there's nothing there it would still rule out a number of potential causes.
