I've got a training session coming up which is broadcast out on Webex so we can all see a desktop in action. Then for sound we all dial in to a conference call so we can hear what's going on. This is fine except the training sessions are coming from the US so they are like 6pm to 10pm tonight and tomorrow night and I don't particularly want to sit up and watch them that late.

Is there any way I can record exactly what's happening on the screen with sound if I dial in with Skype or other VOIP provider? Freeware is best as it's on my own pc not a work one.

That looks spot on, thanks. Always forget about that thread :o

Edit: Oooo it's a new updated thread. Well done that man :)

I don't know if jbloggs has actually used CamStudio.....but I have.:p

It works really well and the videos it makes are really good quality and amazingly small in terms of file sizes.:)

Actually I haven't used it, but it is good to know that it works well.

I have used a number of the utilities in that sticky but rely on other user's comments on the individual utility before I post it. :)

Yeah it really does. I was shocked when I saw the file sizes. Granted it was just a 1024x768 University PC lab monitor but still good.
