Hey guys, I'm interested in doing a few benchmarking videos for some machines I've made, but FRAPS seems to kill the frame rate.
Essentially I need to be able to do screen recordings, preferably with an FPS meter (although I could use a 3rd party), but I want a program that uses minimal resources to do the video processing.
I was benchmarking Skyrim with V-sync on and FPS was hugging 60, then I set FRAPS to record and it dropped to 40 or so, obviously that's not very helpful.
Anyone have any suggestions for less resource demanding software I could use? Many thanks!!
Or perhaps is there a better way of doing this? Like plugging two computers into the same monitor and using one for recording and one for the game?
