Insurance is likely to cost more than the repair.
Tip. Don't drop phone.
Or just insure it.
One thing that interested me is that, I heard that with the TouchID stuff you really need Apple to swap the screen otherwise the device dies after 90 days or something?
Not sure if my phone insurance would allow me to take it to Apple :s
Just seen that iPhone screen repair has gone up from about £80 to £126!
Except it's not an Apple part, no matter what the supplier claims and so if you had any warranty on the device, it's now invalidated.I just bought a new screen for £30 and fitted it myself. It seems to be good as new.
