Hi Guys,

Smashed my S22Ultra screen today.. I've got it booked in for repair on thurs. Am i over thinking the security aspect or do i just turn it off and give it them

Isn't there a repair option within the settings that secures your phone? There was this feature when I owned a 23 ultra, hopefully your S22 ultra has it.

Edit: It's called maintenance mode.

Apple make you completely reset the phone when you hand it in for any type of repair

I’m guessing the repairer will need to turn phone on and do some screen tests?

Maybe ask the repairer what they usually do. Make a backup either way just incase you have to reset the phone

I read this is to stop you tracking the phone and finding out locations of of places they don't want you to know about :)

Does Samsung's maintenance mode disable the networks?
